so, WHat do mentors do?-2.png

Mentors participate in weekly small-group sessions at schools across Perth. As a mentor, you engage with students by serving as a positive role model and leading enjoyable, hands-on activities aimed at boosting their self- confidence and teaching them essential life skills.

The activities, chosen weekly by the mentor group’s coordinators, focus on developing students’ soft skills in areas like teamwork, public speaking, and problem solving.

The specific activities are guided by which of Ignite Mentoring’s three programs your mentor group is running during the semester - Resilience, careers or ESL.

You can read more about our three programs here.
